What this service is

Kentucky Restoration Pros operates a call-routing and information service that connects homeowners with independent local providers of water damage restoration and related services. We are not a restoration contractor, we do not perform or supervise the work, and we do not employ the technicians who arrive at your property.

Any agreement for work is between you and the provider you choose to hire. Pricing, scheduling, scope, workmanship, licensing and any warranty are the provider's responsibility. We do not guarantee that a provider will be available in your area at any particular time, and availability can vary with weather, demand, staffing and market conditions.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for verifying that any provider you hire holds the licensing and insurance required for the work in Kentucky, for reviewing the scope of work and price before authorizing anything, and for complying with any insurance claim requirements that apply to you. Do not enter a structure that is unsafe. If water may be in contact with live electrical equipment, or if a structure appears unstable, leave the area and wait for professional help.

No professional advice

The content on this site is general information about water damage, drying and mold prevention. It is not a professional inspection, engineering assessment, medical advice, or legal advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for an on-site evaluation. Decisions about repairing or occupying a property that has been damaged are yours to make with the advice of qualified professionals.

Fees and compensation

There is no charge to a homeowner for using this service. Providers participate in the network and pay for the referrals they receive, which is what keeps a staffed phone line available at all hours. We do not add a fee to any provider invoice, and we do not participate in the price you agree with a provider.

Because compensation comes from providers rather than from you, it is worth knowing about when you weigh anything we publish. Nothing on this site is a ranking of providers by quality, and no provider receives preferential treatment based on anything other than whether they serve your area and can respond.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms, and the revision date at the top of the page will change when we do.
