Kentucky Restoration Pros
About Kentucky Restoration Pros
A single phone number for Kentucky homeowners who need water out of their house, whatever the hour.
What we do
Kentucky Restoration Pros exists to solve one problem: a homeowner standing in a wet room at 2 a.m. with no idea who to call. When water is spreading across a basement floor or soaking into a wall, the hardest part is often finding someone who will answer, let alone show up. We keep a phone line open around the clock and connect callers with independent local providers who handle water damage restoration in their area.
We take the call, learn what you are seeing, and route you to a provider working in your part of Kentucky. We do not perform the work ourselves, we do not send inspectors, and we do not ask you to fill out a form or wait for an email. A person answers when you call.
How we are set up
We are a marketing and referral service, not a restoration contractor. The providers we connect homeowners with are independent businesses that set their own pricing, staffing and schedules. That means the estimate, the timeline and the warranty all come from them directly, and it also means you can ask them any question you would ask of any contractor you hired yourself.
Because we do not sell restoration work, our only job is to get your call to the right place quickly. There is no charge to you for using the service. Providers pay to be part of the network, which is how the phone line stays open at all hours.
How a call goes
A person answers the phone, day or night. They will ask where you are, which part of the home is wet, how deep the water is, whether it is still coming in, and whether it smells like sewage. Depending on the answers, they may also ask whether the power to that area is off and whether anyone in the household has a respiratory condition.
From there, your request is passed to a provider serving your area, and that provider contacts you directly to confirm timing, pricing and scope. If the situation is a small spill you can handle with towels, the dispatcher will often say so rather than sending a crew out for no reason. Knowing when to say that is part of doing this job honestly.
While you wait, the dispatcher can tell you what to do and what to avoid, which is often the difference between saving carpet and replacing it. Shutting off the water, staying out of a flooded basement, and photographing the damage all take a few minutes and all matter.
What we ask of you
Hiring a contractor for any home repair is your decision, and water damage work is no exception. We recommend confirming that any provider you hire carries the licensing and insurance required for the work in Kentucky, and that you understand the scope of work and pricing before anything begins. If a provider cannot answer those questions clearly, that is useful information.
We do not publish customer reviews, star ratings or awards on this site, and there is a reason for that. A connection service cannot verify those claims for independent businesses it does not employ, and inventing them would be worse than leaving them out. Ask a provider directly about their own credentials and their recent work.
Where we serve
Kentucky is a big state with a lot of different water problems. Coastal storms are not part of the picture here, but river flooding along the Ohio, flash flooding in the eastern mountains, severe thunderstorms in the west, and frozen pipes in every county in January more than make up for it. Our network covers communities across the state, from the largest metros down to small towns along the county roads.
The city directory lists every community in our Kentucky network, from Louisville and Lexington down to Hazard and Williamsburg. If your town is not listed, call anyway and describe where you are, because providers frequently serve surrounding counties that are not named on the list.
What we are not
We are not an insurance company, an adjuster, a public adjuster, or a legal service, and we cannot tell you whether your policy covers a specific loss. We are not a mold testing laboratory, and no one on our line will diagnose an air quality problem over the telephone. We are also not an emergency management agency: if water is rising fast, if a road is impassable, or if someone is in danger, call 911 or follow local emergency guidance first.
What we can do is take your call at any hour, ask the questions that determine what kind of response is needed, and put you in touch with an independent provider who works where you live. For a homeowner standing in a wet room at two in the morning, that is usually the most useful thing anyone can offer.
